Moody 18 March, 2007

Cybie has been feeling moody these few days. Not because of her PMS but something had been surrounding her always. She has been feeling bored and no meaning in her everyday life. Everyday seems like a routine to her. Doing the same things at the same time and same place. She doens’t understand what she wants though.. refreshment? She need a break.. a rest.. maybe she just have to relax..

She thinks of running away.. but running away from what? Running away will solve the problem? But.. the problem is.. she doesn’t know what her problem is..!! She thinks of leaving everything behind and don’t think so much.. But in real life can we really just leave everything behind and don’t think of it? How to survive? Money? Food? A place to cover? Sigh.. she still needs to move on to live in this reality world.. She can only live in her fantasy land during the night time.. in her dream..

madame,

Go buy Viktor Frankl’s Man’s Search for Meaning (1946)

sir,
The book seem not so interesting and difficult to understand for me. I prefer Enid Blyton’s books which brings simplicity and fairy tales to our normal reality serious life. This man Viktor quote:

“Ultimately, man should not ask what the meaning of his life is, but rather must recognize that it is he who is asked. In a word, each man is questioned by life; and he can only answer to life by answering for his own life; to life he can only respond by being responsible”

@_@ What he means??

“It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us”

OMG, what life expected from me??

“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way”

Yeah, no one can take my freedom..!! I will choose my own way..!! :-D

Very literiturely technically dictionarically deep.

Yes, madame, it all goes back to choices. Having no option is an option. No need to goolge lah, go get his book and digest slowly.

Eh… still reading Enid Blyton? Read Harry Potter lah.. it will bring you to the magical world and forget about your daily stressful life for a moment.

Also try Carl Sagan, Isaac Asimov, Nora Roberts, Michael Crichton (my favourite) etc…

Hey, chk out the Grand Canyon Skywalk (on my blog), breathtakingly beautiful!
